The instruments were loud and all performers should be proud of the efforts that they put forth at the Hanover Harvest Festival 2009 Battle of the Bands contest!  Local talent was showcased in a fun event that kept the crowd interested all afternoon.

The Hanover Harvest Festival would like to thank the band members, as well as all the other individuals involved with the setup, coordination, and technical support for the event - along with Covalent Records and Oz Entertainment for sponsoring the fun!

BINGO!  That's what you'll be yelling out after you get your 4 corners or 5 across.  The Crow River Seniors are graciously sponsoring this event for 2009.

Six Lucky Ducks crossed the finish line at the Historic 1885 Bridge in time to pick up some great prizes! This year's winners are posted below.

The Guitar Hero contest is back once again to let you show off your talents and have a great time in the process!

The Hanover Idol Contest is back again this year!!!  The contest will take place on the main stage in Settlers Park, and start at 1:30pm.  There will be a brief break from 3:30pm until 4pm, but the talent display will resume once again and a winner will be crowned at the conclusion of the contest.

The Hanover Harvest Festival would like to thank all of the participants for this year's Hot Shots Basketball Shooting Contest, along with the DiOrio Companies for sponsoring and coordinating the event.  Once again, there were many people lined up to take their turn at scoring points, and fun was had by all!

The Minnow Races once again proved to be a great attraction for kids of all ages!  The Hanover Harvest Festival would like to thank all the participants and volunteers who made this event fun and successful.

Pie Anyone?

Get in on the best and tastiest pie eating contest around! That’s correct; the pie eating contest is back at this summer’s 5th annual Hanover Harvest Festival on Saturday, August 1st 2009.

Still needing to ice down your shoulder from throwing the 'hard stuff' at the baseball pitching contest?  You are not alone!  The fast pitch game and batting cage were a great success, and many of you took your turn trying to put up the fastest pitch and hit a fastball in the batting cage.

Focus as best you can while your friends yell "get in the hole" after you launch your best putt.  After you've conquered the putting contest, test your skills with a pitching wedge.  Human vs. golf ball - what a classic battle!

The Texas Hold 'Em tournament once again brought out the best local card players, and was a tremendous success!

It is hereby proclaimed that the Hanover Harvest Festival Turtle Races will be held from 12:00noon until 5:00pm in the 'Kids Activity' area of Settlers Park on Saturday, August 1st 2009.
