Antique Machinery Display

Antique Farm Machinery Planting, maintaining and harvesting crops became much easier with the advent of the industrial age and the eventual replacement of horsepower with farm machinery.  Join us in taking a stroll back in time as you carefully inspect some antique machinery at the Hanover Harvest Festival!

This year, we are partnering with the Nowthen Historical Power Association to bring some fantastic examples of old machinery to the festival grounds.

Antique Farm MachineryLocated between the sports and youth activity area, and the kids atcivity area, the antique machinery display will offer several examples of machinery that was used during the bygone days when family farms across the nation and here in Hanover fed and clothed the entire population.

The exhibit will be open all day long, and we encourage you to bring the kids and share your stories with the exhibitors.

If you own a classic tractor, steam engine or other vintage harvesting equipment and you are interested in displaying at the Hanover Harvest Festival, please contact Abby Peterson, Vonnie Waters or Marc Cote using the Contacts Page to reserve a spot.

There is no fee for displaying your equipment, but you are responsible for transporting your machinery to and from Settlers Park.  If you have an piece of antique machinery already registered for the Harvest Festival parade, please consider displaying it at Settlers Park when you're not pulling a float!
