Pie Anyone?

Get in on the best and tastiest pie eating contest around! That’s correct; the pie eating contest is back at this summer’s 5th annual Hanover Harvest Festival on Saturday, August 1st 2009.

This year’s event fees are the same as last year: the 5-10 year age division will be $2, and the 11-17 year and 18+ divisions will be $5.

Whomever finishes their pie first and is able to stand up wins! Awards will be given to 1st place only in each age group category.  There are no awards for 2nd or 3rd place in any age category.

The event takes place from 1pm until 1:30pm in Settler’s Park - on the main stage. Space is limited to ten participants in each age category. Contestants will be seated at a table and not permitted to use their hands while eating.

Pre-registration is strongly recommended, and waivers must be signed by a parent or guardian for contestants under 18 years of age - a parent or guardian must also be present during the contest for anyone less than 18 as well.

Download the registration and waiver form if you would like to pre-register for the event.  If any spots remain on the day of the event, same-day registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. near the stage in Settler's Park.
